Education plays various roles in society, including in social, economic, and personal fields. On a social level, education makes it possible to establish and sustain a stable society. It helps people acquire the basic skills needed to interact with their environment and fulfill their needs and desires. In modern society, this involves a wide range of skills like being able to speak, read, and write as well as to solve problems and to perform basic arithmetic tasks. It also includes the ability to handle information and communications technology. Children are socialized into society by acquiring these skills.

Socio –Economic survey is carried out throughout all the areas where Child Friendly Guwahati centers are located in order to identify children who are in need of care and protection and provide them with necessary aids
Mainstream the student
To mainstream every child in Guwahati who are out of school. And to see all children get their equal rights. The out of school and never enrolled children are identified through the survey and mainstreamed them.
Providing Learning Aid
Learning tools consisting of stationeries such as notebook, pencils, eraser, pen, colors etc are provided to the children free of cost. So, that the children’s education doesn’t get affected because of lack of learning aids.
Peer Teacher
The concept is based on the unique idea, “To teach is to learn twice” as it definitely enhances learning intakes of both the parties. 74 children across 36 CFG Centers are involved in Peer Teaching under the supervision of the Social Educators. As it promotes.
ASER
Annual Status of Education Report is a unique concept taken up by the CFG Centers. 828 CFG children have been assessed for ASER in 2022 for improving their Fundamental Literacy and Numeracy (FLN).
