A discussion on “Challenges in the Rescue & Repatriation of Children” was organized by the CFG team with varied stakeholders involved in protection of child rights across the city of Guwahati. Rev. Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, the Chairperson of CFG, Mr. Bikram Chetri, ADC Social Welfare of Kamrup (M), Ms. Kishori Baruah, the DCPO of Kamrup (M), the representatives from Labour department, Childline, NCLP, and a couple of NGOs based in Guwahati had participated. International Youth Day was observed on August 12th 2023, by the members of Children Parliaments in all the CFG centres. Visits to the Planetarium, Awareness programs and Meetings were organized to make the youth aware of their role in nation building, and avoid risky behaviours such as drug abuse. C
